At last skateboarders have a 501® to call their own.
Levi’s® most iconic jean, a favorite of skateboarders for decades, has been reimagined for their performance needs. It makes its debut in the new Levi’s® Fall/Winter 2017 Skateboarding Collection.
Made to withstand slams from every height, the denim in the Levi’s® Skateboarding 501® jean has Lycra® fiber for flexibility and CORDURA® fiber for durability to resist tearing and protect the wearer from abrasions.
The new 501® is part of the Skateboarding Fall/Winter 2017 collection, which draws inspiration from the Sunset Scavengers — the largest organization in San Francisco to collect debris and trash after the great earthquake of 1906. The line blends their workwear silhouettes with style cues from ‘90s-era skateboarding style, like quirky prints and stone wash finishes, for a collection that’s comfortable, durable and made for skateboarding.
The 501® comes in four washes: No Comply, Wallenberg, Rinse and Black. The collection also features some returning favorites. The 504™ Regular Straight, 511™ Slim, and 512™ Slim Taper jeans are all back again this season— made tougher with Lycra® and CORDURA®. You’ll also find the Work Pant, featuring its perfect pocket pouch, and our Sweat Pant, with an elastic cuffed leg opening perfect for on and off the skateboard.
Other top staples for the season include the Thermal Long Sleeve, Riveter Shirt, Mechanic Jacket, and Sherpa Trucker.
