Prince William – A Levi’s® Guy?

To hear him tell it, Prince William is a Levi’s guy.

But his new fiancée, Kate Middleton, says that wasn’t the prince’s picture on her wall at Scotland’s University of St. Andrews. It was the Levi’s® guy!

In a televised interview that came on the heels of news that he had proposed and Kate Middleton had accepted, the couple covered a number of topics: where he proposed, how her family responded and, of course, how many kids they’re planning, to mention a few.

And while royal family watchers around the world hung on their every word, we particularly liked this funny and friendly exchange:

Prince William: She had 10 or 20 pictures of me up on her wall at university.

Kate: No, it was the Levi’s® guy on my wall, not a picture of William. Sorry!

Prince William: It was me in Levi's®.

The playful banter occurred at about 5:40 in on the video interview you’ll find here.

In 2001 the 'Levi's Guy' in the UK was supermodel Tyson Ballou. Good choice, Kate!
