For Levi Strauss & Co., Pride is not just a month or event; it’s part of an ongoing demonstration of support for LGBTQ+ communities around the world. Part of our history for decades, our continued advocacy both makes us stronger as a company and upholds a legacy that we remain as firmly committed to today.
This month, we’re proud to share how we’re honoring that commitment in 2026.
A Collection Rooted in Community
This year’s Levi’s® Pride collection draws its inspiration from queer biker clubs — the tight-knit, often overlooked brotherhoods and sisterhoods that served for decades as vital sources of fellowship, mutual protection and defiant joy for LGBTQ+ people. Long before the mainstream took notice, these clubs created spaces where queer people could simply exist together, on their own terms. The collection pays homage to that spirit — the worn leather, the hardware, the grit and the solidarity that defined those communities and helped give shape to a broader movement.
“This collection is for the community, from the community,” shared the team behind the collection — an ethos the team has carried into every Levi’s® Pride project. The pieces throughout the collection are bold, intentional and deeply connected to real queer history.

Giving Back, Globally
Alongside the collection, Levi’s® is continuing its long-standing partnership with Outright International, donating $100,000 to the organization as part of our annual commitment. Outright International is a global organization working to advance human rights for LGBTQ+ people all over the world, and its advocacy — particularly in countries where protections are weakest — reflects the kind of work we believe matters most.
It was also our great honor to be recognized by Outright for our support during the organization’s Celebration of Courage event in New York City on June 1. Fellow honorees included Cyndi Lauper and VoteLGBT, a Brazilian organization that works to mobilize LGBTQ+ voters in the country.

“While we’ve long been committed to using our platform to support LGBTQ+ equality and freedom of expression, we take our inspiration from groups like Outright and the other honorees who continue to do such critical work on the ground around the world,” shared Paul Dillinger, head of Design Innovation at LS&Co., who representing LS&Co. at the event.
LS&Co.’s support of Outright is in addition to grants to organizations that are continuing to advance the LGBTQ+ rights, including The Trevor Project and the Human Rights Campaign.
Showing Up in the Streets
We’re also showing up where Pride best comes to life: in the streets, in the crowds and in the cities where communities come together to celebrate. This year, Levi’s® is once again a proud sponsor of the San Francisco Pride Parade, supporting the city that has always been at the heart of LGBTQ+ history and our own identity as a company. We’re also proud to show up globally — supporting in parades in Amsterdam (as part of World Pride), Mexico City, Paris and Warsaw — reaffirming to LGBTQ+ people everywhere that they are seen, that they are celebrated and that they are not alone.
A Legacy, Not a Campaign
None of this work exists in isolation. It is the continuation of a thread that runs through more than three decades of LS&Co. history.
In 1992, we became the first Fortune 500 company to provide domestic partner benefits to same-sex couples — a decision that quickly set a precedent for other companies. In 2007, we were the only company to file an amicus brief supporting same-sex marriage with the California Supreme Court. When the Supreme Court took up both the Defense of Marriage Act and California’s Proposition 8 in 2013, we were there again, filing friend-of-the-court briefs in both cases. We have been designated a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign every year since 2004.
Here are a few recent examples of our support for LGBTQ+ communities over the years:
- 2026: We received a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Corporate Equality Index for 22 years in a row.
- 2025: We marketed and sold a Pride collection that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community for the 11th consecutive year.
- 2023: We joined HRC’s Count Us In Pledge and GLAAD’s corporate commitment to reaffirm our support for the LGBTQ+ community, amid the spread of anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric and legislation in the U.S.
- 2023: We made a grant to the Campaign for Southern Equality, which promoted LGBTQ+ equality across the U.S. South
- 2022: We advocated in support of the Respect for Marriage Act, joining 170 other businesses in a letter supporting Senate passage
- 2022: We joined other businesses with employees in Texas on an ad in the Dallas Morning News calling on the Texas governor to abandon anti-LGBTQ+ efforts
- 2022: We joined as a founding member of the Protect All Kids Fund benefitting Lambda Legal and Equality Florida, which challenged the state’s Don’t Say Gay law.
The 2026 Pride collection, our donation to organizations advancing LGBTQ+ equality around the world and our presence in parades from San Francisco to Warsaw are all expressions of the same conviction we have held for decades. LGBTQ+ freedom — the freedom to love, to exist, to ride together — is worth showing up for, every year, without exception.
