Why We Volunteer…

Levi Strauss & Co.
January 26, 2018

“Giving back” is a term you hear a lot at Levi Strauss & Co.

Philanthropy and volunteerism have enriched our workplace culture since 1854 when our founder, Levi Strauss, first donated a portion of his proceeds to a local children’s charity.

We believe that changing the world takes actions big and small. That’s why we gift employees five hours a month of paid time to volunteer in the community. With so many worthy causes in the world, we invite you to take a second look at some of our favorite stories about where LS&Co. employees are spending that time.
