Levi’s® Music Project: Two Years (And 14 Projects) Later

Levi Strauss & Co.
March 13, 2018

Music is one of the most authentic forms of self-expression and community. Every year, Levi’s® celebrates this in many ways, like featuring famous artists in its campaigns, sharing stories about how music inspires the masses and educating the next generations of young musicians through the Levi’s® Music Project.

To date, we’ve teamed up with the likes of Alicia Keys, Skepta, Vince Staples and SZA to launch a range of initiatives, including music technology classes in Brooklyn, a sound studio for young artists at the Long Beach YMCA and a summer concert series in New Jersey.

Through this program, Levi’s® has helped give young people access to music education programs, community resources and experiences with industry-leading musicians. And since the program launched in 2016, it’s gone global. The brand has a total of 14 projects under its belt now (in seven countries worldwide), and it’s not stopping there. Here’s a look at a few of the projects, how they’re coming to life and which performers have joined the effort to make music education a priority in schools and communities across the world.
