The Power of Women – Today and Tomorrow
When it comes to women, ours is an interesting industry. While women may dominate the number of apparel industry workers around the world, they don’t always have the power and respect that should come with such numbers.
Levi Strauss & Co. has long worked to ensure the rights of workers. In 1991, we were the first multinational apparel company to establish a comprehensive workplace code of conduct for our manufacturing suppliers.

A Jump Gone Wrong. And Then...
If you know Bear Grylls only through his television adventure shows, you may not know what led to where he is today – an internationally known figure, now part of Dockers® Wear the Pants™ campaign.
He tells the story far better than I ever could, but just know that it involves a parachute jump gone wrong. Intense determination. And a silver lining.
As the Dockers® folks would say: Clearly, Bear wears the pants. Listen up, and judge for yourself:

We Are Explorers
I’ve got to say that I’m impressed with the winners of the Denizen® brand’s We Are Explorers casting call. For instance, meet Lorena Garal. That's her on the left in the picture above. A resident of Mexico City, Lorena's 25 and a competitive motocross racer.
And then there’s Nawed Khan, above right, a 30-year-old music producer from Mumbai, India. He’s one of the biggest names in India’s nightlife music scene and one of the first Indian DJs to enjoy international success.
