Earlier this year, we announced our ongoing commitment to San Francisco, Levi Strauss & Co.’s hometown since our founding 170 years ago. We believe in San Francisco and are doing our part to revitalize the city through philanthropy and volunteerism — including efforts by and for both our employees and fellow Bay Area companies — contributing to the much-needed positive shift in the city’s narrative.
As part of these efforts, we joined companies and community leaders from around the Bay Area for the kickoff of It All Starts Here, an ad campaign that will blanket San Francisco with billboards, video and storefront posters and signal a renewed spirit of innovation and resilience in the city. This is just one small step in our commitment to San Francisco. We will continue to build community and relationships with like-minded companies, and — channeling the energy and interest of our employees — we will continue to show up, volunteer and highlight what makes this city our unique and beautiful home.
