Get to know our new and recently promoted leaders at Levi Strauss & Co. through these Quick Qs. Meet Christy Su, our new general manager of Taiwan and Hong Kong.

What attracted you to LS&Co.?

It’s a great honor for me to join LS&Co. at such a pivotal moment, with our brands’ rich cultural heritage existing simultaneously alongside a willingness to embrace change. This year marks a watershed moment for LS&Co., and I’m incredibly proud to be a part of it.

What does success look like in your job?

For me, success is helping others achieve their dreams, aiding the company in achieving its goals and creating a better experience for the consumer.

How do you unwind?

I unwind by playing and laughing with my children.

What dish are you best at cooking?

I am skilled in various types of meat dishes, especially Taiwanese-style spicy beef noodles. I even thought about opening a restaurant just for the dish.

Where was your favorite vacation?

I frequently go to Japan with my family, traveling to different cities to enjoy skiing, going to the hot springs, sailing and hiking and indulging in food and drinks. Even just walking on the streets provides happiness.
