Bob Eckert to Succeed Steve Neal as LS&Co. Board Chair

Levi Strauss & Co. announced leadership changes to its Board today – Stephen C. Neal, current board chair, will be stepping down from the position on March 26, 2021, after reaching the mandatory board retirement age of 72. The board has unanimously appointed Robert “Bob” A. Eckert to succeed Neal as board chair.

“It has been an honor to lead the Levi Strauss & Co. Board over the last decade,” Stephen said. “As I step down from this role, I have great confidence that Bob will continue to bring a high standard, invaluable perspective and strong leadership that will help the management drive outsized performance over the coming years.”

Stephen has served on the LS&Co. Board as a director since 2007 and as Board chair since September 2011.
