As the Coronavirus pandemic continues on, the concept of “conscious consumption” is more vital than ever according to our own President and CEO, Chip Bergh.
This month, Chip penned an article for Business Today India highlighting key aspects of the business Levi Strauss & Co. is investing in in the face of today’s consumer climate.
“We know we will get through this and emerge stronger. But we also know that we have to earn the right to be the brand consumers turn to in this moment, because of our products, our history, our sustainability programmes and our values,” Chip wrote.
Moving forward, Chip notes how important it is for LS&Co. to lean further into the company’s values and keep our sustainable approach to business at the forefront. “This for us is an opportunity to double down on our programmes on climate, water, workers, chemicals, and more,” Chip wrote.
