The fashion and apparel industry is always changing, and it can be exhausting to keep up with the latest trends in sustainability, innovation, and design. Our bi-weekly “What We’re Reading” column is here to make the task a bit easier with a few of our favorite reads from around the web. In this space you’ll find blogs we love, people we follow, articles we’re sharing and words that inspire us.
Jean Stories launched last winter and quickly earned a place on our denim must-read list. The site shares stories of interesting people through the lens of their jeans. Swoon.
As co-creator Jane Herman Bishop shared with Lucky magazine when the site launched: “The overarching idea is that everyone has owned a great pair of jeans, and there’s always a story behind each one. So we’re going to feature people whose style we love and admire — celebrities, designers, fashion folks — in their most treasured pairs. Talking to people about their jeans is a great way to get to know more about them.”
We couldn’t agree more.
Not surprisingly, Jean Stories found a gold mine of treasured, unique, and envy-inducing jeans when they stopped by our San Francisco headquarters. Fortunately, they just so happened to be donned by some of the creative minds behind Levi’s®.
