August 12, 2015

Today, HP announced that it has named Chip Bergh, our president and chief executive officer, to the future board of directors of HP Inc.

With HP’s plans to separate into two new companies, HP Inc. will be positioned as a market-leading printing and personal systems company, which is expected to rank among the Fortune 50.

Here at LS&Co., we know Chip’s more than 30-years of experience building and growing iconic global brands will be of value to HP Inc.’s board of directors. Chip told Unzipped, “HP has long been recognized as an icon and an innovator, and I’m honored to join HP Inc. as it embarks upon this exciting new chapter.”

Chip will join the new board once the split of HP is effective, which is planned for November 1, 2015.
