Breaking Down Barriers

Equality comes in all shapes and sizes – sometimes, it may even come in the form of a savings account.19-year-old Imre, pictured above, lives in Hungary with his mother and four younger siblings. He is also a qualified mason and the breadwinner of his family. As a man of Roma descent, however, he faces discrimination when applying for a job or credit.

A Better Way to Grow Cotton

Author Robert Louis Stevenson once said: Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant. That’s certainly our philosophy when it comes to our long term commitment to Better Cotton – cotton grown in a way that reduces the environmental impacts of farming and supports the 300 million people engaged in cotton farming around the world. We’re proud to let you know that more than 2 million pairs of Levi’s® and Denizen™ jeans made with Better Cotton are hitting our retail stores this fall.

A More Sustainable Future...By Design

More Jeans. Less Water.

I've always believed that businesses not only have the ability to change the world -- they have a duty to do so.It's this belief that has led me through my career. And to Levi's. We're All In It Together.

Suppose you’re an apparel company, moving product from, say, raw cotton in the field to a finished item in a store. It’s a long chain, with many links. And while that “supply chain” process has never been simple, the added constraint of sustainability is making it even more complex. How do you get that product from farm to store…with minimal impact on the environment? So it makes sense that colleges – and students – are taking a closer look, in the classroom, at sustainability. And collaboration.
