Levi's® and the Golden Fleece

At first glance, the title of this post reads like a tale from Greek mythology. But that was Jason – of Argonauts fame – and the Golden Fleece. This Golden Fleece is linked to the Levi’s® brand.You see, the image of the Golden Fleece suspended by a ribbon is a Brooks Brothers trademark. And Levi’s® brand and Brooks Brothers have just announced an exclusive collection of jeans, made in the United States.

"Ready to Work" in Braddock

On any given day, you’ll find me in Braddock, Penn., a small borough in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh.
 
If you know anything at all about Braddock, it’s probably that it’s a steel town that – like the U.S. steel industry itself – has fallen on hard times.
 
I’m a farmer here, working full time, growing produce in the city.
