Let’s just say this – when a woman finds a pair of jeans that fits AND makes her look and feel fabulous, well, it’s nothing short of a fashion miracle.
That being the case – there were miracles galore this last Friday in Bryant Park where around 2,000 women lined up to donate a pair of jeans to Goodwill and receive a personalized fitting for a free pair of Levi’s® Curve ID jeans.

“All asses were not created equal.”That’s the memorable marketing phrase from the folks behind – ahem! – Levi’s® Curve ID, a new fit system for women’s denim. The words certainly resonated with New York-based fashion bloggers who recently attended an invitation-only event at the brand’s Soho store.

Sometimes you can submerge yourself in London culture. Sometimes you need an escape. Tucked away, last night, inside the bare-bricked surroundings of Levi’s flagship store, pianist, singer and entertainer, Chilly Gonzalez provided just that– a place to get away.

If you tuned in to NPR’s All Things Considered on Thursday, you might’ve thought you were eavesdropping on a sidewalk conversation between two women – about blue jeans.
In this case, the two women happened to be NPR Anchor Michelle Norris and Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post fashion writer Robin Ghivan.
“Most women would rather eat their toenails than go shopping for jeans” is how Norris introduced the conversation.

Who knew the first internship of my professional career would land me in an OMG moment in the dressing room?My name is Elizabeth, and I’m a college senior lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work at Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco this summer. On day one of the job, my boss, Blake, took me on a field trip to the Levi’s® Store at Union Square. She told me about Levi’s® Curve ID and how 3-D scans of 60,000 women were studied to craft the perfect fit, how You Nguyen is pretty much the most fabulous man on earth, and how the jeans he designed are supposed to fit me perfectly the first time I try them on.
