Hand-Crafted Surfing
Danny Hess makes his surfboards the old fashioned way: by hand, one-at-a-time, with wood. It’s his passion.
And a lot of the surfers who borrow one for a test ride end up buying one. That helps Danny keep his passion alive.

Levi's Malaysian Flair
What would the Malaysians do? Well, when it comes to designing a tee, we now know!The Levi’s® Malaysia team recently ran a nationwide contest for their Facebook fans. Participants purchased a tee from the Levi’s® DIY – as in Do It Yourself – Collection and decorated it with their own flair.Once the masterpiece was completed, each contestant simply snapped a picture and uploaded it to our Malaysia Facebook page.

Okay guys, how long – as in length – should you wear your pants? It’s a puzzler for many. We don’t normally let others do our blogging for us, but we’ll make an exception this time.The folks at the Levi’s® Photography Workshop this week held a private photo shoot for students at New York’s Hetrick-Martin Institute.HMI provides a safe learning environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth from 12-21 years.

Full Frontal. Graphic, Too.
Cool is subjective - in my opinion a cool T is based on brand relevance, it depends on where it comes from and where it’s going. A bad T is a design that exploits current predictable pop culture art / design trends. I think a brand should represent its own original vision.

Ari Gold's Assistant -- A Dream Job???
If there’s one job I would not want, it’s being the assistant to Ari Gold, the abrasive manager on the HBO series Entourage. I’ll leave that to actor Jonathan Keltz, who plays the role of Jake.Even if you don’t have HBO – or a television, for that matter – you’ve no doubt heard of the cable channel’s comedy/drama take on life in Hollywood.
