Looks Like Fall. And Winter.
One of the best parts of my job is when we have the opportunity to share a new Dockers® collection with the European press. It’s always fun and enlightening to see the response.At Munich’s Goldberg Studios, we debuted our Fall/Winter 2012 collection to fashion reporters for Uomo Vogue (Italy), GQ (Spain, Italy and UK), Esquire (Spain and UK), and others. Also on hand, a bevy of German journalists – from Playboy, to Men’s Health, X-Ray to FHM.Name drop? Me?

Wear the Pants. Again. And Again.
This Thursday is World Water Day. And we’re trying something interesting in our offices and stores around the world.Starting today, for five days, employees and store associates will be asked – not required – to wear the same pair of jeans or khakis every day.In the picture above, that’s a sponge, securely attached to someone’s jeans. If they wash them, the sponge expands – and everyone will know!

Care For Our Planet
It’s easy to get caught up in all the talk about environmental sustainability and, then, wonder what you can do to really make a difference.Truth is, you don’t have to buy a hybrid vehicle or put solar panels on your roof. You can start with something simple: changing the way you do your laundry.We’ve been talking about this ever since Levi Strauss & Co. commissioned a scientific life cycle assessment of a pair of Levi’s® 501® jeans and Dockers® Original Khakis.

It's a Pitti
Of the 1,100 exhibitors descending upon Florence earlier this month to show their apparel, it’s a safe bet that only Dockers® brought a bear.In this case, the bear was Bear Grylls. He wasn’t actually at Pitti Uomo in person, but the trade fair provided the perfect opportunity for us to introduce Bear as the face of the current Dockers® global marketing campaign.

Masculine, Yet Understated

If you haven’t taken a look at Dockers® lately, it’s time.The brand just showed off its Spring/Summer 2012 line to fashion editors. We could sing the praises, but we’ll let the editors who attended the New York event do the work for us.Details style editor Eugene Tong: “Dockers® is steppin’ it up. Love the idea of a dress pant that fits like a khaki. The SF khaki is solid and looks like a great men’s staple.”
