A Beautiful Ballet -- in Levi's® Jeans

If you need a lift today, here it is.Our Levi's® brand colleagues in Korea recently worked on a video with the Korea National Ballet to demonstrate Levi's® Stretch to Fit jeans.The woman in the video is classically trained Kim Li Hoe. The man, with a bboy -- or breakdance -- background, is Lee Dong Hoon. Together, they create magic on the streets of Seoul.

Mike's Levi's®

We get letters.Working in Consumer Relations, of course, that makes sense. And a recent one made our day.On Christmas Day 1983, Mike MacDonnell got his first pair of Levi's®. That's him, pictured above, reading the jeans label on that Christmas morning.Mike recently wrote that his older stepbrother gave him the jeans, even going so far as to let Mike pick them out at the San Jose, Calif., Miller's Outpost before he wrapped them to put under the tree.

The inspiration for Levi's® Spring 2012 collection was the small California coastal community of Sea Ranch.Ever been there?Beautiful and somewhat isolated, about a hundred miles north of San Francisco, Sea Ranch is a quiet mixture of ocean spray, native flora and only about 1,300 permanent residents. Like We Said...

The whole idea behind our Care Tag for Our Planet is to encourage consumers to reduce the environmental impact of caring for their jeans. Our message is wash your clothes less often, wash in cold water, line or air dry, and donate unneeded clothes.A student at the Melbourne School of Design recently did some research on the whole "wash-less" approach. Turns out, it works just fine!Check out what Masters candidate Tulia Jack discovered -- in this video by the University of Melbourne.
