A Straight Shooter for Levi's®

Meet Phil Waldman. The folks at the Kinkora Pythian Home in Duncannon, Penn., where Phil hangs his hat, say he’s 90-years young and…”a proud, long-time customer of Levi Strauss & Co.

We like Phil!

He recently called our Consumer Relations team to talk about his love for Levi’s®. After a great conversation, we sent Phil a t-shirt. Soon, we received a picture of him modeling the shirt, along with a stylish red bandana, and holding a United States flag.

Who Inspires You?

If you’re inspired – truly inspired – to make a New Year’s resolution, I’m guessing it’s better than just making one. If someone is inspiring you to do so, maybe you’ll have a sense of obligation to make it work…so that your resolution lasts more than just a month. Or a week.

Them's the Breaks: Pant Length

Okay guys, how long – as in length – should you wear your pants? It’s a puzzler for many. But you’ve come to the right place.

When it comes to pant length, I truly believe the same two rules apply whether we’re talking about jeans, khakis or smarter dress trousers:

Rule #1: Pants should never be worn too long

Rule #2: Pant should never be worn too short.

It’s all about the break.

Inventing Jeans. Making History.

Levi Strauss didn’t invent blue jeans to make history. At the time, he was simply doing business and trying to meet the needs of his customers – hard working Californians, trying to carve out their piece of the American dream.

In Appreciation - Richard C. Holbrooke

The death, Monday, of Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke was felt around the world, including here at Levi Strauss & Co.

Ambassador Holbrooke galvanized the corporate HIV/AIDS movement as president and CEO of the Global Business Coalition. He led the organization from 2001 to 2009, a time of unprecedented global growth of corporate commitment to those in need and at risk from HIV/AIDS.

Simply put, Ambassador Holbrooke played a visionary role in bringing HIV/AIDS to the forefront of the global agenda.
