Over the years I’ve sported numerous iterations of the twisted jean, a popular style where the inseam rotates to the exterior at the bottom of the pant. More recently, I’ve been looking for something else, but didn’t quite know what I was looking for, vaguely hoping that I would just know it when I saw it.

If you haven’t taken a look at Dockers® lately, it’s time.
The brand just showed off its Spring/Summer 2012 line to fashion editors. We could sing the praises, but we’ll let the editors who attended the New York event do the work for us.
Details style editor Eugene Tong: “Dockers® is steppin’ it up. Love the idea of a dress pant that fits like a khaki. The SF khaki is solid and looks like a great men’s staple.”

One of the best parts of my work is interacting with amazingly creative people – at Levi’s® and beyond.
In the “beyond” category, Stefan Sagmeister is up at the top. The Austrian-born artist is one of the most original graphic designers of his generation. And over the past several years, we’ve been lucky enough to work with Stefan on several projects.

Author Robert Louis Stevenson once said: Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.
That’s certainly our philosophy when it comes to our long term commitment to Better Cotton – cotton grown in a way that reduces the environmental impacts of farming and supports the 300 million people engaged in cotton farming around the world.
We’re proud to let you know that more than 2 million pairs of Levi’s® and Denizen™ jeans made with Better Cotton are hitting our retail stores this fall.

This is pretty cool. Japanese electronic engineer and DJ Daito Manabe has found a way to turn body movement into music.
To do this, Daito uses electronic sensors and music software that he programmed himself. In this video, he and his friends manipulate and create music simply by moving their bodies and dancing. The music results from each dancer's style and movement, making it unique.
The clothes are from the Denizen™ brand, which worked with Daito in Japan to create this video.

Food fiends were probably quick to note this morning that the latest Michelin Guide for San Francisco gave two stars to Saison. Those who’ve been to this must-eat eatery have also noted the fashionable duds of those who work there – designed by the Levi’s® brand.
"It's basically luxury workwear," is how Levi's® men's global design director Orondava Mumford described it to the San Francisco Chronicle.

As any longtime fan of the Levi’s® brand knows, there’s a lot of history in our jeans. And a new website offers a pretty cool look inside that history.
Levi’s® Vintage Clothing, takes pains to create near exact replicas of pieces from the Levi’s® archives, including many versions of the 501® jean, the first style of blue jeans ever created.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be treated like a movie star, just take some really old vintage Levi’s® jeans to Japan.
