Step into the new Dockers® store in Stockholm and that’s the sense you get – masculine, yet understated. Not that different from what you feel when you put on a pair of Dockers® men’s pants, right?
The store is located in the PK Huset department store mall in Stockholm’s up-market central district – a key shopping area for style-conscious Swedes and visitors.

Brace yourself for the winter, New York.
It’s sunny and 75.
Instead of wool coats and frozen breath, New Yorkers got a blast of springtime cheer from the Levi’s® brand at the recent Spring 2012 press preview.
There, next season’s key looks came to life through a vibrant tableau vivant. Using the theme of a romantic spring night, the talented Levi’s® creative team curated pieces from the men’s and women’s collection to form vignette experiences evoking a day at the park, a row-boat on a lake and a bike ride on the street.

I tested positive for HIV in 1987.
It was a scary time. I was working in Los Angeles, and no one knew much about HIV. Rumors, assumptions and fear often overrode common sense and compassion.
Trying to find out facts about my personal condition was difficult enough. Going to work fearing what others might think – even worrying if I could be fired because of my status – only layered on the stress. Honestly, there was nowhere to turn for confidential assistance at work back then.

Our friends at Dockers® -- home of fine pants and Man Grants – have a nice challenge: Tell them how you’d say thanks to someone in your life with $2,000, and you might have the opportunity to do just that!
Tomorrow being Thanksgiving Day, this seems like an appropriate contest.
Log on to facebook.com/dockers, find the Win $2k link, and follow the directions.
Time’s running out. The contest ends at 5 p.m. Eastern Time Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 2011.
Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Equality comes in all shapes and sizes – sometimes, it may even come in the form of a savings account.
19-year-old Imre, pictured above, lives in Hungary with his mother and four younger siblings. He is also a qualified mason and the breadwinner of his family. As a man of Roma descent, however, he faces discrimination when applying for a job or credit.

Odds are, you know about Braddock, the former steel town outside Pittsburgh that has seen better days.
In part because of its mayor, John Fetterman, and a number of other dedicated individuals, Braddock has made something of a comeback. But there’s still much to be done – to fix what’s broken.
The Levi’s® brand decided music might help.

If you paid a visit to Levi’s Plaza this past weekend, you witnessed the power that teenaged girls have to change the world.
On November 12, 2011, Levi Strauss & Co. hosted San Francisco’s first Girl Up Unite for Girls tour. Girl Up is a campaign of the United Nations Foundation that gives American girls the opportunity to channel their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for some of the world’s hardest-to-reach adolescent girls.
