Let’s face it. There are people who like bicycles. And there are people who love them.
The folks at Oregon Manifest fall into the latter category. They live, breathe, eat, and otherwise support bicycling.
In fact, they say their organization exists to “celebrate and amplify bike craft, design and innovation.”
I’d say that’s true love.

It's been one year since Levi Strauss & Co. and H&M announced a global ban on sandblasting on all our products. Since then, other apparel companies have joined us.
In this video blog post, our chief supply chain officer, David Love, shares his views about the reasons behind the ban and what you can do as a consumer to help end sandblasting as a finishing technique.

In June of 2010 I was focused on making my way in the world as a musician. My band, 53a, was getting quite a few gigs here in Singapore and we were recording our first album. I was teaching music and also had a part time job as a DJ at a local radio station.
Then...I got a call about possibly becoming a brand ambassador for a new brand from Levi Strauss and Co. It sounded interesting and involved a free trip to Shanghai for the brand launch. After meeting with some of the Levi Strauss & Co. folks for coffee at Starbucks one afternoon, I was sold on the idea.

Around 100 million people in the European Union spend time volunteering every year. If they were a country, they would be the biggest Member State of the European Union.
These volunteers make a positive difference in the lives of millions of people across the continent — they are justifiably described as the 'glue' that holds society together. Wherever people work together to help each other and support those in need, society as a whole benefits, and the volunteers themselves also benefit.

Six years ago, Maria and Luis de la Luz Vazquez had a vision of serving up Mexican food that went beyond the typical fare of tacos and quesadillas. That’s when they began sharing their traditional Mayan cuisine with the world.
They began pursuing their dream by cooking out of their own kitchen and selling their specialties out of their home and outside subway stations. They named their company Chaac-Mool, after the Mayan god of rain.

It’s exciting to begin my first day at Levi Strauss & Co. This is not unlike starting at a new school. There’s so much to learn and so many people to meet.
Still, I couldn’t be happier. Being asked to lead LS&Co. – with its rich and amazing history – is a tremendous honor.

Acting. Expressing. Being. Transforming.
This is what the young creative minds of the dENiZEN™ D-5 marketing campaign did at our launch party in Mexico City on August 17.
We celebrated the official arrival of our youngest brand in Mexico with a launch party at the warehouse-turned-underground-nightspot, Patrick Miller, and an interactive catwalk with the latest styles from the dENiZEN™ brand.

The world lost a pioneer when Ruth Brinker passed away in San Francisco on August 8, 2011.
Ruth was the founder of Project Open Hand, an organization that provides daily meals and support to over 7,000 seniors, people living with HIV/AIDS and the critically ill in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Ruth began this work in 1985, just as the HIV/AIDS epidemic began to spread like wildfire. It was then that she noticed her neighbor was suffering from AIDS and lacked access to the most elemental health component: a nutritious meal.

We love it when we receive pictures of consumers enjoying our product. We thought we'd share a few.
Up top are twin brothers Gabriel, on the left, and Jacob, about to be buckled safely -- and stylishly! -- into their car seats.
Below, you see father and son, Charles and Parker, enjoying some quiet bonding time together in their Levi's® jeans and overalls, respectively.
