We Are Explorers

I’ve got to say that I’m impressed with the winners of the Denizen® brand’s We Are Explorers casting call. For instance, meet Lorena Garal. That's her on the left in the picture above. A resident of Mexico City, Lorena's 25 and a competitive motocross racer.

And then there’s Nawed Khan, above right, a 30-year-old music producer from Mumbai, India. He’s one of the biggest names in India’s nightlife music scene and one of the first Indian DJs to enjoy international success.

Lorena and Nawed have been paired up for an action-packed trip to … India! Okay, so Nawed may have a definite edge as they find their way around his home country. There, they’ll meet new people and take on tasks and challenges centered around creating new styles of denim based on their experiences.

The other explorers who’ll be paired up are:

• Osman Khalid Butt, a 25-year-old actor from Islamabad, Pakistan
• Peter Xu, a 25-year-old teacher and fashion blogger from Shanghai, China
• Silver Ang, a 26-year-old model and actress from Singapore
• Rohan Shrestha, a 27-year-old photographer from Mumbai, India

Osman and Peter will travel together to Mexico later this month. Silver and Rohan’s itinerary will take them to China in April.
