#SpotTheShuttle

Like others across the United States, we at Levi Strauss & Co. know when to step outside for a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Space shuttle Endeavour flew over our hometown of San Francisco this morning, as it wrapped up its cross-country tour, on its way to Los Angeles. The shuttle hitched a ride on a Boeing 747, and its Bay Area visit was one of many California flyovers today.

Despite the mid-morning haze, the scene from our balconies at Levi’s® Plaza, as Endeavour passed over San Francisco Bay, was more than a little impressive.

Intent on capturing and, no doubt, sharing the moment, it seemed like most of us watched the space shuttle through the lens of our smartphones.

Next month, the Endeavour will begin its new life as an exhibit at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
