Sneak Peek: Levi's® Spring 2012 Collection

Brace yourself for the winter, New York.

It’s sunny and 75.

Instead of wool coats and frozen breath, New Yorkers got a blast of springtime cheer from the Levi’s® brand at the recent Spring 2012 press preview.

There, next season’s key looks came to life through a vibrant tableau vivant. Using the theme of a romantic spring night, the talented Levi’s® creative team curated pieces from the men’s and women’s collection to form vignette experiences evoking a day at the park, a row-boat on a lake and a bike ride on the street.

Special guests such as Emma Roberts, Olivia Munn and Theodora Richards enjoyed a live performance by Cello Street, a string quartet adding an ethereal feel to favorite cover songs.

Take a look below at some of the event highlights below to get inspired by women’s looks for Levi’s® Curve ID, Dresses and Feminine Crafted and men’s looks for Levi’s® Commuter, Taper, and Tailored for men.

Searched the world over for a pair of jeans with flap rear pockets that weren't girly, so I would be more secure that my wallet was safer.... Found them---Levi Welder jeans, ordered the sail fabric in my size and was really happy until they arrived...Don't misunderstand me, I am still pleased, nice fabric for summer wear.. But big but, Flap pockets are not real, real flaps but not attached to the jeans in a way that they can close the pocket with the button, just sewn to the outside of the pocket. The Marketing yahoos could at least tell us in the copy that the flaps are not operational.... I wonder if the Marketing department will actually see this?? Bob Dutton

Editor's note: Hi Bob. I'm sorry you weren't happy with the flaps. I will definitely pass along your feedback to the Levi's® team, so that it'll be shared with the appropriate folks. Thank you for taking the time to reach out.

I am a women of 47, I buy all Levi for my 18 year old twinn boys they look great! This summer I purchased a pair for myself I was pretty happy. I have become pretty chubby lately(having a child at forty no matter how hard I worked the weight would not come off. The point is that when you are fifty pounds overweight nothing makes you feel pretty. Anyway since the one pair were fairly sucessful I decided to find another pair more carefully. I ordered the a pair of the supreme curve skinny boot size 33. Great fit!! I look and feel prettier! I have been motivated to change plans try something else. I lost 10 pound by portion control. And I still look to cute in these jeans!! My promise too myself is eventually a new wardobe. I not saying these jeans helped me loose weight. What I am saying is they made me feel pretty when I needed it most!! Thanks!! Carolyn Guinn

It is very disappointing indeed that I cannot find Levi's vintage Made in the USA bell-bottom/boot-cut jeans for men.

Editor's note: Hi Sergej. I checked, and it turns out that you're after something from our Levi's® Vintage Clothing line that isn't currently offered, nor has it been for a couple of seasons. Sorry! Right now, we're offering LVC in only straight and skinny -- no bootcut or flare. You may want to visit http://www.levisvintageclothing.com to find local retailers and our current offerings. Thanks you for your question -- and good luck!
