That’s how the Levi’s® brand describes its new Sta–Prest™ line.
Yes, that’s right, Sta-Prest™. What goes around, comes around, huh?
It was 1964 when the brand introduced its first line of Sta-Prest™ pants. One of the advertising slogans back then was, “Washed 33 Times!” In other words, a Sta-Prest™-treated garment could still retain its crease after that many washings.
That was then. And now, none other than The New York Times fashion blog, said these are pants “that fit. Which is to say, one that’s slim, but not too skinny; that can be worn to work and on the weekends.”
This version of Sta-Prest® comes in the brand’s 520™ Taper and 511™ Skinny fits. Whichever you choose, in whichever color, like those of almost 50 years ago, these come with a permanent, sharp crease.
“After seasons of the ubiquitous distressed chino,” the Times says, “these are “a welcome alternative.”

This is a request for women's jeans to be made all cotton again. No more 99% cotton and 1% whatever. They stretch out and hang below the crotch. Not flattering. Please go back to 100% cotton jeans.
