Miles of Made & Crafted™

My current favorite jeans are a pair of Levi’s® Made & Crafted™ that I’ve had only a few months. They fit perfectly. And as long as I can refrain from the Halloween candy that has somehow shown up in the office in the month of May, I hope to wear them for a long, long time.

If you don’t know it, the Levi’s® Made & Crafted™ line is made using the best materials and construction techniques. The denim, for instance, is premium quality, woven in the United States, Japan and Italy. The buttons are made from compressed cotton, bone and wood. They sew their shirts using single-needle construction.

As they put it, “We are Levi's®. We invented the denim game and we are still the best at it. Each season, you can expect us to show where we came from--and where we can take it.”

Ultimately, I hope to own miles of Levi’s® Made & Crafted™. But such well-made clothes are not inexpensive. And you’ll find them only in the best stores.

Speaking of miles, in this video, Design Director Miles Johnson talks about the brand’s Spring & Summer 2013 collection. Be forewarned. After watching, you may find yourself coveting an item or two – for both the way they’re made and the way they look. If that’s the case, you’ll find shops that carry Levi’s® Made & Crafted™ here.
