Message in a Bottle

“Waste is only waste if we waste it.” – will.i.am

That quote from music artist and producer will.i.am says it quite well.

Best known for his work with The Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am has joined with The Coca-Cola Company on an initiative to educate consumers about everyday recycling choices. It’s called EKOCYCLE™.

And the Levi’s® brand is on board with that.

As part of the EKOCYCLE™ initiative, the Levi’s® brand has announced a limited edition Levi’s® 501® Waste<Less™ jean. The jean is made with an average of eight recycled plastic bottles per pair.

Other brands joining EKOCYCLE™ with their own products made in part from recycled materials are Beats by Dr. Dre®, Case-Mate® Barely There Case and New Era® caps.

You’ll find the limited edition Levi’s® 501® Waste<Less™ jean in Levi’s® retails stores and online at levi.com in April. Other Waste<Less™ products are available sooner, in January.
