Just how well do Levi’s® jeans perform? Very well, thank you!
But don’t simply take our word for it. Ask the folks at New York Magazine and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
The two teamed up at F.I.T.’s new Textile Lab to “stress test” three pairs of blue jeans:
The experts tested seam slippage, tensile strength, thread count and abrasion testing – you know, all the things that determine whether you love your jeans or not. These details also add up to how well a pair of jeans wears…and how long it lasts.
Reporter Lauren Murrow's New York Magazine article is an interesting read. Here's the bottom line – literally, the last line in the article:
"Levi’s held up the best, pairing good strength throughout with a high thread count.”
So if you’re in the market for a pair of jeans that's not only stylish, but also high quality, we've got 'em for you!
