One look inside and you’ll realize you don’t need to speak Dutch to understand that Bijenkorf means top-notch shopping. What you may not know is that it is the biggest (and finest) Amsterdam department store. It’s not just shopping – it’s an artfully curated experience. Beyond fine fashion, there’s dining, an art gallery and even a hair salon!
I’m thrilled that after years in the making, the Levi’s® brand is now in partnership with Bijenkorf. Our new exclusive, space inside the six-story luxury retailer introduces a fresh take on shopping and features Levi’s® menswear like Commuter™ and Water<Less™ jeans as well as the complete fit portfolio of men’s bottoms. (That’s “fashion speak” for pants.)
The heart and soul of the space is our beautifully designed tailor shop. We worked with our Levi’s® Japan team to create the refined aesthetic. And it’s not just for getting your pants hemmed, the tailor shop gives you more choices to feed your denim needs by offering unique alteration and customization services, complementing the already vast fit and finishings we have available. It’s the first Levi’s® tailor shop in Europe to offer such extensive customization possibilities.
In the coming year, more exclusive spaces will be added to three Bijenkorf locations across the Netherlands, focusing on our womenswear collections, particularly Levi’s® Curve ID.
If you are ever in the area, make sure you stop our space and say hello to our tailors.
