The Interns Speak

Every year, we welcome a number of interns to our San Francisco headquarters. Here, these college students – between their junior and senior years – have a great opportunity to learn about apparel and retail from some of the best in the business – the employees of Levi Strauss & Co.

This isn’t a summer of grabbing coffee for an executive. It’s a roll-up-your-shirtsleeves, hands-on experience where you work, learn, and contribute. You’ll even make presentations on what you’ve done to brand and company leaders.

Of course, as the picture above indicates, there'll be some fun along the way. In this case, it was a San Francisco Giants baseball game.

For this summer, the company is looking for applicants interested in internships in the areas of communications, design, finance, IT, marketing, merchandising and product development.

We asked some recent interns – who’ve been fortunate enough to turn their internships into full-time employment – tell us about their experiences.

The result is a video on our Internships page, where you can find more information and apply for our internship program. We thought we’d share the video with you here.
