The Levi's brand and Liberty London have hooked up for an exclusive clothing collaboration.
It's a natural fit. The two iconic brands share a rich history of designing iconic clothing that marries uncompromised craftsmanship and heritage. And since it hit store shelves, the collection has grabbed the attention of consumers and fashion enthusiasts alike.
Cool fact: One of the two prints in the collection -- Carlin -- is named for a Levi's® designer who worked on the collection, Jenny Carlin. The design features painterly garden flowers and is inspired by a print in the Liberty archive from the 1970s. For 2013, the print was redrawn with water-color pencils and put into repeat design to create a painted, colorful and flowing floral.
The collection features 15 pieces, including the iconic 501® jean short, Trucker jacket, boyfriend skinny jean, a bustier, and a small collection of accessories. Check them out at Levi.com. And the cute San-Francisco-meets-London video, below, is definitely fun and worth watching.

The last pair of Levis I bought, I wore Levis to the store and the new pair weighed less than the ones I had on. They developed a hole in the knee rather quickly and I have been buying Levis for 35 years. Times and fabric weights change though.
Editor's note: Hi Mark, and thanks for your comment. We have a variety of denim weights, and we actually have more of the lighter weights on the shelves in the warmer months. If you're in the market for heavier weights, I recommend that you look on Levi.com. I just checked out some 501® Original Fit jeans, and the denim weights range from 8 to 12.7 oz. I hope you can find what you want online if not in the store. Thank you!
