Are you still accepting submissions for this campaign?

Editor's note: Hi Rose, and thanks for your question. We're no longer accepting submissions for this campaign, but we appreciate ALL of the images that have been submitted. Some VERY cool pics of our favorite people! Thanks again!

Hello! Could you help me) I can't find, where to download my pics)) Could you give me a link?

Editor's note: Hi Yulia. Once you upload your picture, it's in Instagram's hands. We don't have possession of the images. You may want to search Instagram to see if your pic comes up. Good luck!

I buy Levi's from a company called Shepler's that seems only to deal to comboy types in the midwest of the U.S. But this has been a goldmine for me, because they sold one kind of Indigo-dyed stretch denim Levi's that fade into a true blue I haven't seen anywhere else. Of course, they're clearly designed for dude ranch dudes because they are boot cut. Still with altering plus the original cost of the dirt-cheap jeans from Shepler's ($34.99), the bill maybe adds up to a mere $60. Can I take a picture of these jeans, even though it's of the Levi's that are simple & cheap, and likely not the kind you want to sell to the people who are taking pictures of themselves with Instagram iPhones?

Editor's note: Absolutely! Share your pic on Instagram with the #iamlevis hashtag. Would love to see them, particularly with your customization. Thanks for asking!

can more than one picture be submitted by a single person?

Editor's note: Yes, you may submit more than one Instagram picture. Just be sure to tag each one #iamlevis. Thanks!

Rosa (not verified) - Jan 12 2012

Oh, and I also want to know can the photos be professional or unprofessional

Editor's note: Either works, but given the way folks usually use Instagram, we expect most of them to be "home grown." :-)

When is the deadline?

Editor's note: There's no deadline. It's an ongoing process. The selection of some submissions has already begun, but the Levi's® brand will keep it going for a while for future projects. Thanks!

When do you start picking people for the next stage and how do you contact them?

Editor's note: Thanks for your question. The process of choosing people is already underway! It'll be an ongoing process, because once the Levi's® brand has finished casting for one project, there's usually another on the horizon. The brand contacts those selected by commenting on the tagged Instagram photo, asking for the person in the photo to contact us at a specific email address. So far, I'm told, the process has worked every time!

and if i don't have an instagram or a phone?:(

Editor's note: Simple enough -- have a friend with an iPhone take your picture using the Instagram app and upload it with the #iamlevis hashtag. If your photo is selected for the next found of casting, the Levi's® brand will get in contact with the person who submitted the photo to, then, find you. Good luck!

LS&CO has done me well over the past 2 years. I am proud to be going forth with such an empire as LEVI's Jeans.

Editor's note: Thanks, Joe R. Glad to have you going forth with the Levi's® brand!

Kara (not verified) - Jan 06 2012

I am unsure of why you would want to find just face instead of someone who "goes forth" everyday and shoots what they see and do. Wouldn't it be more relevant to the "Go Forth" campaign to focus on moments ( much like the Mcginley photos)? I can't see how a pretty face captures through a rose colored lens is relevant. It is like, "hey get your face on a wheaties box". The whole point of instagram is to document and share your "going forth" and the things you do and see why not take advantage of that. The medium is the message, but you somehow managed to find the perfect medium screw up the message. Sorry is that was harsh, it just seems so obvious.

Editor's note: Feel free to use your creativity in a way to show you and your "going forth." The idea for the contest is to find a new face of Levi's®, someone who could be featured in an upcoming campaign. With that in mind, the brand wants to see ... faces! You're right, in that folks tend to use Instagram to share images other than faces, but a quick scan of the latest regular Instagram feed definitely includes a few mug shots. Thanks for commenting!

Instagram is an iphone app. Id like to enter, but don't have an iphone. Will you also consider twitpic or another alternative?

Editor's note: Hi Tami. Thanks for the question. Just track down a friend with an iPhone and the Instagram app and have them take your picture and submit it. The Levi's® brand will reach out to your friend if you're selected for the next round of casting. And you're friend will, we hope, let you know!
