I Like Bread & Butter

If you didn't see me among the tens of thousand of people at Bread & Butter in Berlin last week, it's because I wasn't there.

But Levi's® and Dockers® were.

In case you don't know, Bread & Butter is a pretty amazing trade show that attracts some 600 labels and maybe as many as 100,000 visitors. The New York Times says it's "among "the world's most important urban and street fashion trade fairs." And Fashion United calls it "the most important tradeshow for denim and streetwear on an international level." In other words, it's a very. Big. Deal.

So it's important for our brands to show up...and show up well.

For Dockers®, that meant showing off its premium range, the Dockers® K-1 collection, alongside The Art of Khaki. Dockers® Art of Khaki is all about a relaxed, laid back attitude. It's an extension on the Dockers® Alpha Khaki, a collection of premium chinos, masculine shirts, fitted graphic tees and classic accessories.

On the Levi's side of the house, showing up at B&B meant making a strong statement through the very best of Levi's® for spring/summer 2012. The "Sea Ranch" product inspiration provided an authentic carefree summer vibe in which the color palette of indigos, tobacco, reds and fresh whites made for a contemporary cool American style.

If you weren't able to make it to Berlin, but are interested in what Dockers® and Levi's® had to offer, here are a few pics in two Flickr slideshows.

And I'll see you there next time, right?
