If this summer finds you hanging in Rome, you might find it a bit toasty. Temperatures can easily top the 100-degree mark (Fahrenheit). Lucky for you, we know just the way to cool off.
Stroll on over to the Levi’s® River Bar. You’ll find it by the Tevere River in the city’s center, just outside Castel Sant’ Angelo.
To create the space, Levi’s® brand partnered with two popular Roman bars, Il Baretto and Les Affiches. Il Baretto is a historic place, known for its vintage architecture and famous clientele. Les Affiches is where you’ll hear the pulsing beats provided by alternative DJs.
As you might expect, given the Levi’s® brand and aesthetic, it’s a cool, casual and informal place, marked by premium furnishings, a hip atmosphere and relaxing lighting. But it’s not necessarily a place to sit – or sip – quietly. DJs spin their music every day until the wee hours of the morning.
You are a night owl, right? Of course, you are. This is holiday time – in Rome, no less.
And while the music continues until 2 a.m., you don’t have much time to place your order at the River Bar. This temporary space, which began serving drinks in June, is open for only three months.
Arrivederci! Or is it, ciao?
