A torn parachute, a bad landing, a broken back. What would you do next?
If you were Bear Grylls, you’d climb Mt. Everest.
After a life-changing accident with the British Special Services in Southern Africa that almost left him paralyzed, adventurer Bear Grylls used the powerful hope of his childhood dream to inspire his 18-month rehabilitation and become one of the youngest men in history to summit the tallest mountain on Earth at the age of 23.

It’s this indomitable spirit and courage that led the Dockers® brand to select Bear Grylls, a fan of Dockers® pants and the star of multiple extreme survival programs including the Discovery Channel’s "Man Vs. Wild,” as the new face of the Wear The Pants® campaign.
Dockers® Wear The Pants® celebrates passion, purpose and empathy – traits that make today’s men real-life heroes.
Bear Grylls wasn’t selected for just his extreme survival skills; he’s also deeply committed to his family and to the community. In 2007, Bear led a paragliding expedition and documentary, called “Bear’s Mission Everest,” that raised more than $2.4 million for Global Angels and children’s charities worldwide.
We’re thrilled to be working with Bear and look forward to sharing more of his story with you in 2012.
