One of the best parts about Levi Strauss & Co. is the amazing talent you find here. For example...
You may know her as “the Levi’s girl,” but her real name is Meghan Smith. And her talent…well, she has many. But the one that caught my eye is her ability to draw, in amazing detail.
Her work is so detailed, that when I saw one of her drawings on Mister Mort, I knew I had to see more. So we met recently and chose a couple of Levi’s® items on which she could work her magic. I emailed her digital photographs, and she sent back the beautiful drawings you see here.
Here’s what Meghan had to say about her work: For these drawings all I used was one incredibly tiny Micron pen, the tip of it is basically the size of a needle point! I have a ridiculous & altogether crazy obsession with detail when it comes to most anything I create, and I simply hope my work inspires others to go & create things themselves.
That’s a great hope – that others would go create things for themselves. So grab a Micron pen — or your creative tool of choice — and have some fun. In the meantime, enjoy Meghan’s creations. Click on the two images below to see a larger version of her drawings. And let us know what you think about them in the Comments.
