Dockers® Steps It Up

If you haven’t taken a look at Dockers® lately, it’s time.

The brand just showed off its Spring/Summer 2012 line to fashion editors. We could sing the praises, but we’ll let the editors who attended the New York event do the work for us.

Details style editor Eugene Tong: “Dockers® is steppin’ it up. Love the idea of a dress pant that fits like a khaki. The SF khaki is solid and looks like a great men’s staple.”

Esquire fashion director Nick Sullivan: “It’s great to see a softer palette after a few strong seasons of brights. We know what Dockers® is capable of offering now so it’s great to see a new range of silhouettes, colors and patterns.”

Men’s Health fashion director Brian Boye: “Definitely not your dad’s chinos. Dockers® continues to prove their place in the market and it’s great to see full head-to-toe looks.”

New York Times fashion director Bruce Pask: “Love to see Dockers® play with patterns and different fabrications. Still the spirit of what the brand does best but now in new options. Obsessed with the camo Alpha!”

GQ creative director Jim Moore: “I want those five full head-to-toe looks in my office first thing in the AM. Excited to fall in love with some new Dockers® besides the SF Tapered. The brand continues to head in a great direction.”

W market editor Garrett Munce: “Love to see the women’s product evolve a bit. Love my men’s khakis too but am very excited to see some options in color and leg shape.”

As for the recently introduced and well-received Alpha Khaki, you'll soon find this perfect blue-jean/chino hybrid in a wide range of new colors -- and camo and smart plaid patterns. And, of course, don't forget the women! The collection focuses on menswear silhouettes, softened through tailoring and silky fabrics.

Check out the images. Good stuff!

Bring back the Premium Dockers for their great press retention. The No-Iron's don't equal. The men in my house have at least ten of the Premiums which always look neatly pressed, unlike the No-Iron.

Editor's note: Thanks for your request. I will definitely pass it along to the Dockers® brand team.

Love my Levi 501's Love the Comfortable Levi Dockers, Would love to see Dockers with a Button Fly. Maybe in the near future with one of the great designers associated with Levi's. I can't remember a day gone by that I haven't slid my feet into a pair of Levi's. OH! And my Levi's Jacker's

Editor's note: Hi Sir David, and thank you for commenting. As it turns out, Dockers® does have button-fly fronts. On dockers.com, do a search using the terms "button" and "fly" and you should come up with quite a few results! Thank you again!
