The "Button Fly" Flies High

If you’re a nut for pop culture, creativity and art, feast your eye on these – award-winning posters created by artist Stefan Sagmeister.

The New York-based Sagmeister, who has collaborated with Levi Strauss & Co. for several years, recently took home top honors from the 22 International Poster Biennale in Warsaw for this one, “Button Fly.”

The 22IPB presents posters created worldwide in 2009 and 2010 with the goal of reviewing and comparing the most significant achievements of the time.

Button Fly also won the Grand Prize at the Taiwan International Graphic Design Awards, among other awards in Asia, Europe and the U.S.

Over the past several years, Sagmeister has collaborated with the Levi’s brand on numerous international, award-winning projects, including LS&Co.’s World AIDS Day 2009 poster, as well as his deconstructed 501® jeans installations, shown here.

I LOVE LEVIS THEY HAVE BEEN MY FAVORITE ITEM OF CLOTHING SINCE I WAS A CHILD...I WEAR LEVIS EVERYDAY,SHORTS, JEANS, SLACKS, SOCKS ETC.. YOU NAME IT IF LEVIS MAKES IT ILL WEAR IT. SO I THINK THESE POSTERS ARE WONDERFUL AND EXTREMELY ARTISTIC. I WOULD HANG SOMETHING LIKE THIS IN MY WALL...
