Just plain cool.
That’s how I’d describe one of the recent Community Day projects involving Levi Strauss & Co. employees.
The volunteers joined with Board Rescue to build 300 skateboards in under four hours. The boards – along with helmets, backpacks and other items – were then donated to underserved youth in San Francisco.
You’ll find the full story in a great video on the skateboarding website, The Berrics. As you’ll see, the kids who received the boards seemed pretty happy.
