Transparency

As a privately held company, we’re not obligated to disclose our greenhouse gas emission levels. However, because we believe that sharing best practices drives the industry toward the mitigation of climate change impacts, we report our emissions data to organizations that focus attention on carbon emissions and energy usage worldwide.

Carbon Disclosure Project. This year we voluntarily submitted our 2008 emissions profile—as well as our climate change actions to date—to the U.K.-based Carbon Disclosure Project. Working with over 3,000 corporations worldwide, the CDP holds the largest database of corporate climate change information in the world.
The Climate Registry. We also report our GHG inventories under The Climate Registry program. Aligning our reporting with The Climate Registry highlights potential gaps and increases the credibility of our reporting.
